BEWARE: Big Brother is watching
Imagine this: You are laying in your bed recovering. You get up to go to relieve yourself. When you walk past the window you think nothing of it, as your room is several stories up in the air. Now comes the uncomfortable part. You may have just been watched by a color camera that has hi speed zoom. This can also be recorded without your knowledge. That is right. These cameras have the ability to see and record you.
Imagine this: You are out to eat at a Hillview restaurant. Your entrance and exit can be watched and recorded by the big building across the street without your knowledge.
TYPES OF CCTV CAMERAS.
Full bodied Dummy CCTV Camera including Lens and Mounting Bracket. Uses an actual Camera body so it looks like the real thing.
These are used in places where people want you to think that there are functioning cameras.
These are used primarily for covert surveillance. These can be:
fake smoke detectors
clock radios
clocks
radios
pencil sharpeners
notebooks
exit signs
motion detectors, computer speakers and many more things. These can be wired or wireless.
(Hint: if you see an extension cord that "suddenly appears overnight" and disappears into the ceiling or a locked box, there may be a hidden camera nearby.)
Normally mounted just out of reach. These can be behind mirrors, inside domes, inside a lockable case or mounted on a wall mount.
Dome mounted cameras
These can be either in a fixed position or pan, tilt & zoom.
Usually mounted in a dome or weathertight case. These are usually a pan, tilt & zoom camera.
